Due on Receipt

We allow 30 days for payment, after which interest will begin to accumulate on the account. If a balance goes over 90 days, deliveries will be on hold until the balance is paid.

Commercial Rate

If you would like to request a commercial rate for your propane delivery, we will require a copy of your business number and proof that the business operates from the delivery address to be on file. This information can be emailed to marylou@tyendinagapropane.ca.

Delivery Options

Auto Delivery:

Deliveries are scheduled by the delivery department based on a “Degree Day System” that takes into account cold weather temperatures and estimated consumption. We only require a call if any appliances are added/removed that can change your propane usage (i.e. range, fireplace, etc.).

Phone-In Delivery:

Deliveries are monitored and requested by the customer for their own supply requirements. Please call when your gauge reads no less than 30%. Your delivery will be scheduled the week following your call. Please note that if propane is not your only source of heat, our “Degree Day System” will not be able to accurately predict your propane usage.
Customers who have an alternate heat source (i.e. woodstove, pellet stove, etc.) will be on the Phone-In Delivery method.

Tank Rental

Tank rental is applied to the account yearly on May 1st.

Propane Re-Certification & Filler Station

Located at our office, 17 Industrial Park Rd. in Shannonville, is our propane cylinder re-certification and filler station. At this location, we are able to fill propane tanks ranging from 5lb – 100lb in size.

*Please note it is against the law for an expired or damaged cylinder to be filled. Propane cylinders need to be either replaced, or re-certified by a re-qualifier licensed by Transport Canada, every 10 years.*

At our re-certification station, we are able to re-certify 5lb, 10lb, 30lb, 40lb, 60lb, 100lb, 100lb multi-valve, 33lb forklift and larger-style propane tanks. Please call our office at (613) 967-7881 for details on pricing.

You can also purchase propane tanks at our office. Sizes available are 5lb, 10lb, 20lb, 30lb, 40lb, 60lb, 100lb & 33lb forklift tanks. Please call our office at (613) 967-7881 for details on stock and pricing.

20LB propane tanks are mostly used for BBQ grills
30LB propane tanks can be used for RV trailers, heaters & turkey fryers
33LB forklift propane tanks are used as a power source for propane powered forklifts

When you exchange your cylinder, be assured you are receiving one that is always clean, freshly painted, and properly maintained.

At Your Convenience

Gone are the days where you have to wait to get your cylinder filled. With many locations across our service area, you are sure to find one close to home. When you run out of propane, you will only have to travel as far as your local retailer. Our tanks are filled and ready to take home. Our display cages are located at convenience and some grocery stores with extended service hours and most are open seven days a week.

Security

Our cylinders are filled to no more than 80% of their capacity (Code can/CSA-b149.2) to ensure security in case of climate change. The cylinders are inspected with each refill. New tanks are properly purged at no extra cost. Additionally, they meet and even exceed all government standards. Simply look for our sealed cylinders to guarantee those safety commitments.

Environmentally Responsible

We take the time and effort to re-qualify our cylinders after expiry. This way they remain safe and in circulation rather than ending up in over-crowded land fill sites.
