We are a local and independently owned business, operating out of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, in Shannonville, Ontario.
Founded in 1998, by Keith Maracle and Betty Thibault, Tyendinaga Propane began its journey with a small office space, 45 customers and a single Ford delivery truck. Today, our small business has grown to service a customer base of over 6,000 with a full fleet of delivery and service vehicles.

In 2015, the company moved to our current location on 17 Industrial Park Rd. in Shannonville. This large building was constructed specifically to house Tyendinaga Propane’s growing operation, and the property now includes a propane filler & recertification station, a mechanic shop and an 80,000 gallon bulk plant, in addition to its 2-storey office building.
We continue to grow our customer base and service area year after year, but still remain a small, locally owned business at heart. We take pride in our dedication to our customers, our staff and the community in which we live, work and play. Our customers can rest easy knowing we’ll be available whenever they need us. When calling our office, you will never be answered by a machine, and we strive to offer our customers exceptional reliable service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
